3D Website Cost in India: Real Prices and What Actually Drives Them

Banner: Bellops 3D website starting prices in India, from ₹30,000 to add 3D to a site to ₹1 to 1.5 lakh for a full 3D website

Short answer: at Bellops, a one-page 3D landing page starts from ₹50,000. A full 3D website costs ₹1 lakh to ₹1.5 lakh, and a 3D product configurator starts from ₹1 lakh. If you already have a site you like, adding 3D to it starts from ₹30,000. Custom 3D models made just for you start from ₹5,000 per model, and licensed marketplace models are included.

Those are our real starting prices, the same ones listed on our 3D website design page. The rest of this post explains why one 3D site costs ₹50,000 and another costs three times as much, and how to keep your own number down without ending up with a slow site.

Why this guide uses our own prices

Most "how much does a 3D website cost" articles give you a range so wide it's useless. We'd rather be specific. I run Bellops, a small studio, Delhi-based, working remotely across India, that designs and builds premium websites with Three.js and WebGL, and the same people who design our sites also code them. Every price below is taken directly from our live service pages. We don't quote other agencies' prices, because we can't check them.

Treat these as starting points. Every project gets a fixed, itemised quote after discovery.

The middle row of the first table, one 3D page plus standard pages, is the one we recommend most. You get the 3D impact on the page most people see first and pay standard-page rates for everything else.

What affects the price of a 3D website

Two sites can look alike in a screenshot and still be very different jobs. These are the things that actually move a quote.

1. Scope: how many pages, and how many of them are 3D

Page count matters, but the number of 3D scenes matters more. A 3D scene has to be modelled, lit, animated, tested on phones and given a lighter fallback. A standard page doesn't. That's why "one 3D page plus standard pages" (from ₹75,000) costs less than a full 3D website (₹1 lakh to ₹1.5 lakh), even if both have the same number of pages.

2. The number and complexity of 3D models

Models are often the biggest single variable.

  • Licensed models from trusted 3D marketplaces are included in our prices. We optimise their textures and lighting for the web.
  • Your own CAD files or existing models can usually be converted and compressed. How messy the source files are affects the effort.
  • Custom models made from scratch start from ₹5,000 per model. A simple object sits near the bottom of that range. A detailed product with many parts, fine materials or moving pieces costs more.

Model count multiplies quickly. Ten product variants can mean ten models, or one model with ten material options, and the second approach is far cheaper. We'll tell you which one fits during discovery.

3. Interactions and animation

A product that turns slowly as you scroll is one level of work. Click-to-explore hotspots, drag-to-rotate, scroll-linked camera moves and page transitions each add design, build and testing time. Not every brand needs a full 3D world. Sometimes a few micro-interactions and one interactive element in the right place do the job for less.

4. A 3D product configurator

A configurator lets customers rotate a product and switch colours, materials or finishes in real time. It starts from ₹1 lakh because it is really a small application. Every option needs its own materials or model parts, the interface has to stay simple, and the logic has to stay correct as options combine. If it also needs live pricing, saved configurations or a link to your CRM or store, the scope grows. The number of options and how they depend on each other is what pushes the 3D product configurator cost up or down.

5. Mobile performance work

This is the part cheap 3D sites skip. Most visitors in India arrive on a phone, often on mobile data. A Three.js scene that runs well on a designer's laptop can stutter on a mid-range Android phone and drain its battery. We compress models and textures, load scenes only when they're needed, render the content before the 3D and ship a lighter version of every scene for slower phones, while watching Core Web Vitals. This work is built into our prices, but it's a real part of what you pay for, and it's why a proper Three.js website costs more than a template with a 3D embed.

6. CMS, integrations and languages

Whether your team needs to edit content, and how, changes the build. The same goes for extra languages and integrations such as a CRM, ecommerce or forms. Confirm during discovery which admin setup is included in the starting price for your project.

7. Content and copywriting

Final copy, brand assets and product photos or CAD files ready at kick-off make a project cheaper and faster. If we need to write the copy, plan the page structure from scratch or source product references, that's extra scope.

8. Ongoing care

A website isn't finished at launch. Hosting, security updates, backups and small edits are covered by our website care plans, which start from ₹3,000/month. Plan for this when you budget for the full first year, not only the build.

How to save on a 3D website without making it worse

  1. Put 3D on one page only. Usually that's the home page. Build everything else as fast standard pages.
  2. Start with licensed models. They're included in our prices. Pay for custom models only where your product needs to be exact.
  3. Use one model with material options instead of a separate model for every variant.
  4. Add 3D to your existing site (from ₹30,000) if your current site works and only needs a stand-out section.
  5. Have your content ready. Final copy, brand assets and CAD files at kick-off save time, and time is cost.
  6. Pick one decision-maker. Fewer rounds of conflicting feedback means a shorter project.

Bellops vs DIY or a template: an honest comparison

When DIY or a template makes sense. If you need a simple site quickly, have a tight budget and don't need custom 3D, a website builder or a template is a reasonable choice. Many builders now let you embed a 3D viewer. For a personal project or an early idea you're still testing, that's often enough, and we'll say so if you ask us. Our standard landing pages start from ₹20,000 if you need something in between.

Where DIY or templates tend to fall short with 3D:

  • Performance. Embedded 3D often loads the full scene up front, with no lighter version for slower phones. On Indian mobile networks, that can mean a slow first load.
  • SEO. If key content only exists inside a canvas, search engines may not read it. We render the content first and add the 3D on top.
  • Fit. A template's 3D moment wasn't designed around your product or your customers' questions.
  • Ownership of the details. Compression, fallbacks and device testing are the unglamorous parts, and they're the ones that decide whether the site holds up.

What you get with Bellops: discovery and research before design, a sample to approve before we go further, design and code from the same small team, a performance and SEO pass before launch, testing on real devices, and a fixed, itemised quote. You pay more than for a template. Whether it's worth it depends on how much your website has to do for your sales.

You can see the kind of sites we build in our work: Baba Luxury Cars, PUSHWebb and Chase Healthcare & Wellness. Also browse premium website design if you need craft without a full 3D build.

How we quote a 3D project

  1. You tell us your goals, budget range and launch date. Our contact form has budget bands from under ₹50,000 up to above ₹5 lakh, so pick the one closest to yours.
  2. Discovery. We learn your business, customers and goals, then plan the page structure.
  3. Fixed, itemised quote. You see what each part costs, so you can drop or add items.
  4. Sample first. We share a sample, and once you've approved it we start with 50% upfront.

We usually reply within a working day.

FAQ: 3D website cost in India

How much does a 3D website cost in India?
At Bellops, a one-page 3D landing page starts from ₹50,000 and a full 3D website costs ₹1 lakh to ₹1.5 lakh. The final price depends on the number of 3D scenes, the models and how interactive the site is. You get a fixed, itemised quote after discovery.

What is the cheapest way to get 3D on my website?
Add 3D to your existing site, such as a 3D hero or product viewer, from ₹30,000. Or build one 3D page with standard pages for the rest, from ₹75,000.

How much does a 3D product configurator cost?
A 3D product configurator starts from ₹1 lakh. The number of options, the custom models needed and any integrations such as pricing or a CRM decide where your project lands.

Do I need to provide 3D models, and what do custom models cost?
No. Licensed models from trusted marketplaces are included. We can also work from your CAD files. Custom models made just for you start from ₹5,000 per model.

Why does a Three.js website cost more than a normal website?
Each 3D scene needs models, lighting, animation, a lighter version for slower phones and extra device testing. Our premium websites start from ₹50,000, and 3D adds work on top of that, depending on how much 3D there is.

Will a 3D website be slow on mobile?
It doesn't have to be. We compress models and textures, load scenes only when needed and ship a lighter version of every 3D scene for slower phones, while keeping Core Web Vitals in check.

How long does a 3D website take?
A 3D landing page takes about 2 weeks and a full 3D website about a month. A configurator takes about a month, or longer with custom models.

Are there ongoing costs after launch?
Yes, if you want hosting, security updates, backups and small edits handled for you. Our website care plans start from ₹3,000/month.
